Infrastructure Intelligence
Data-driven site assessment for capital-intensive or critical infrastructure.
We believe that site decisions for critical or capital-intensive infrastructure should be based on transparent, verifiable data.
Better data foundations lead to better decisions — and to more robust infrastructure and investment outcomes.
UIISE technology is a proprietary, patent-pending method developed by
insqor GmbH & Co. KG
(UIISE = Universal Infrastructure Intelligence Scoring Engine).
insqor is a technology company for infrastructure decision and assessment
systems, headquartered in Dorsten, Germany.
UIISE combines relevant location, infrastructure, grid and environmental data into a single, unified assessment. This makes it possible to systematically compare and prioritise large numbers of potential sites.
The results are transparently documented and can serve as a robust basis for further technical, economic and regulatory due diligence.
For project developers:
Systematically identify, compare and prioritise potential sites.
For investors:
Support site decisions with transparent data and documented results.
For infrastructure operators:
Assess sites and infrastructure conditions early on.
Site decisions for critical or capital-intensive infrastructure are complex — not because data is lacking, but because it is hard to compare.
Sites must be assessed based on land, infrastructure, grid, transport and regulatory conditions.
Relevant information is often spread across different datasets and formats.
With thousands of potential sites, there is no unified basis for prioritising them objectively.
From a large, heterogeneous site pool to a robust site decision.
UIISE (Universal Infrastructure Intelligence Scoring Engine) handles this process quickly, systematically, transparently, and — where required — with cryptographic verification: from a large candidate pool, potential sites are assessed and compared on the basis of objective, and where possible physically measurable, factors, and brought together into a documented site report.
Relevant location and infrastructure data are brought together into a single, unified assessment.
Potential sites can be prioritised according to consistent criteria.
The assessment and its underlying data are documented transparently.
Large numbers of possible sites can be examined automatically and narrowed down to relevant ones.
The results are geared to the requirements of project development, due diligence and further technical review.
At its core is a unified scoring logic that combines real, physically measured grid and infrastructure data with location, land and environmental data.
Hard exclusion criteria — such as nature reserves and protected habitats, water protection zones, or certain land-use restrictions — act as an independent gate, regardless of the weighted score. A fundamentally unsuitable site cannot be compensated for by strong values in other dimensions.
UIISE documents the data basis, scoring status and results transparently. Results can additionally be cryptographically secured and independently verified.
The UIISE method is based on scoring logic developed by insqor, for which a patent has been applied.
UIISE was initially developed to assess sites for battery energy storage systems (BESS). The application combines relevant location, grid, infrastructure and environmental data into a standardised site assessment — with the aim of reducing grid bottlenecks and supporting investment decisions by making them objective and transparent.
Site decisions for battery storage are increasingly shaped by regulatory
and grid-related requirements, such as the German BauGB storage
privilege. UIISE takes relevant location and infrastructure data into
account to identify suitable sites early and prioritise them for further
technical and legal review.
Every report documents the data basis, scoring status and result
transparently, and can be cryptographically secured and independently
verified if required.
Every report documents the data basis, scoring status and result transparently, and can be cryptographically secured and independently verified if required.
The underlying technology is not limited to a single asset class. UIISE is initially used for battery storage and can eventually be applied to other grid-connected infrastructure — such as data centres or EV charging infrastructure.
